Micro 2000 shall assemble a team of Management Information Systems (MIS) personnel to provide your organization with the Computer Management Services in System Planning & Management, Networking, System Maintenance, Customized On-Site Training and other computer-related services. The team forms an integral part of the organizational chart in providing all IT needs.

The team will play a vital role in the implementation of technology within your organization and do everything from helping to construct a business plan to overseeing network security to directing Internet operations. The team will plan, coordinate, and direct research and facilitate the computer-related activities of the company. They help determine both technical and business goals in consultation with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals.

The team also plan and coordinate activities such as installation and upgrading of hardware and software, systems design, development of computer networks, and implementation of Internet and intranet sites (through 3rd party web developer). They are involved with the upkeep, maintenance, and security of networks. They analyze the computer and information needs of the organization from an operational and strategic perspective and determine immediate and long-range personnel and equipment requirements. They assign and review the work processes and stay abreast of the latest technology to ensure the organization does not lag behind competitors.

The team will also evaluate the newest and most innovative technologies and determine how these can help the organization. Because of the rapid pace of technological change, the team will constantly keep a lookout for developments that could benefit the organization. Once a useful tool has been identified, the team determines an implementation strategy and sells that strategy to the management of your organization.

The team ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data and information technology services in the organization. In this capacity, they oversee a variety of user services such as an organization’s helpdesk, which employees can call with questions or problems. The team also makes hardware and software upgrade recommendations based on their experience with an organization’s technology.

The team will develop requirements; work with the finance department on budgets, and schedules for information technology projects. They coordinate such projects from development through implementation, working with external vendors, consultants, and computer specialists.

Apart from the key personnel responsibilities, a team of specialist from Micro 2000 form an integral part of the outsource infrastructure in offering specific expertise and technical know-how. The team also works back-to-back with product principals such as Microsoft, HP, Sun, IBM, Symantec etc for technical support and resolution in the event problems cannot be resolved.
