Singapore’s largest Apple Service Centre with 8 Service Counters

Singapore. Micro 2000 Technology Pte Ltd announced today the opening of a new Apple service centre in Wheelock Place, operated under its flagship service brand, eServ. The facility is the only Service Centre in Orchard Road, the largest and first such operation in Singapore with 8 Service Counters.

eServ Wheelock will begin business this today (01 January 2010) providing Apple products’ installation, diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair as well as technical advises to all Apple customers. Micro 2000 will be investing nearly $200,000 in refurbishing the facility within this month and will employ up to 25 employees of various job functions to support this new facility. Micro 2000 will be spending another $500,000 in creating its brand awareness in upcoming months.

In May 2008, Micro 2000 opens its flagship Apple Service Centre in SunShine Plaza, Bencoolen. This Service Centre will continue to serve its existing pool of customers which includes students from the nearby vicinity as well as Desktop Publishing sectors. eServ is now operated in 3 facilities – Trivec House, SunShine Plaza and Wheelock Place.

Speaking on the occasion, Raymond Lau, Service Centre Manager, said “Customers will benefit as now they will be able to access eServ’s services faster and more efficiently. The Service Centre, located within the first Apple Centre - EpiCentre, Level 2 Unit 20, will provide maximum support to the customers and improve responsiveness to customer requirements at this high activity facility.”
