Company’s new market penetration brings vast opportunities in solutions selling.

Singapore - 24 February 2009 – Micro 2000 Technology today announces that it will be setting up offices in Ho Chi Minh City and in Kuala Lumpur in 1st half of 2009. The new establishments will add value and provide a market diversification for the company. The Corporate Sales Business Unit will be established and focused primarily on niche solutions selling catering to the mid and large market space. Local Business Development Managers will be hired to oversee the respective markets.

“Microsoft Vietnam gave us a very warm welcome as the current Certified Partners they have in Vietnam are mainly box pushers,” said Patrick Ee, Sales Director of Corporate Sales who has just returned from a business trip in Vietnam. “Our solution-centric approach gives us greater mileage against and competitive advantage over our competitors.”

Patrick also tied up with Sun Microsystems Vietnam as well as Hewlett Packard Vietnam on the upcoming business collaborations and initiatives. More businesses tie up will follows in the months to come.

Patrick oversees and will be responsible for all 3 territories (Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia) sales with help from the company’s 3 Senior Managers - namely Johnny Cheng assisting in the Vietnam market, Navy Tan assisting in the both Singapore/Malaysia market and Steven Poh assisting in Singapore market.

“Marketing initiatives in Vietnam and Malaysia will be replicated from Singapore’s past initiatives which have been very successful.” Cited Patrick. “The only challenge ahead is the culture and the mindset of the local companies as most believe services should be provided at no cost.” Patrick believes that both countries presented vast opportunities in solutions selling for the company.

Patrick will move in to Malaysia to tie down with the respective principals and business partners in the next few weeks.
